Portland Story Theater is awakening to the season with our second annual St. Paddy's show, Luck of The Irish, as well as two free shows at the beautiful Gorge Pavilion in Cascade Locks: Urban Tellers and Shackleton, The Untold Story! We're also bringing our Storytelling Starter workshop to Hood River. All this thanks to generous grants from the Autzen Foundation and the Libraries of Eastern Oregon (LEO), with venues provided by The Port of Cascade Locks and the Hood River Library, and the generous support of you, our friends, fans, and story lovers.

Autzen Foundation grants funds free show in Cascade Locks

Get your free tickets! Come enjoy stories, new and old, from some of your favorite Urban Tellers®. Thanks to a generous grant from the Autzen Foundation, this is a FREE event and open to the public.  Due to mature themes, please no small children. Young adults 15+ welcome with parent or guardian. The Port of Cascade Locks has generously donated The Gorge Pavilion, a beautiful venue for this event. Come experience an evening of real, true stories. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. | Show 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with intermission.

 The Port of Cascade Locks is proud to present Portland Story Theater's Armchair Adventurer, Lawrence Howard. Shackleton, The Untold Story happens on March 26th at The Marine Park Pavilion in Cascade Locks. This is a free event and open to the public. Due to mature themes, please no small children. Storytelling Starter (2 hour workshop)
Hood River, Saturday, March 5
Our next session is free through a generous grant from LEO (Libraries of Eastern Oregon). Bring your friends! Have some fun! It all happens between 2 and 4 pm. Visit the Hood River Library for details about registration and directions.

 
Storytelling Bootcamp (1 day workshop)
The March 20th workshop is full but there's still room in our June 26th workshop. Portland Story Theater’s Storytelling Bootcamp is a one-day (7.5 hour) intensive, where you will create new story material, learn about narrative structure and intentional storytelling techniques, and have a chance to share your stories while getting individual feedback. Art of Personal Narrative (5 week workshop)

There's one session until the fall and that starts on May 18. If you're ready for a creative challenge and have been thinking that you'd really like to explore storytelling in depth, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to discover, craft, and tell your story to a live audience.
